Reading Cavell

Finalmente baixei 'The Claim of Reason' e tirei 'Must we mean what we say' da estante. Procurei 'Esta América nova, ainda inabordável' por todo o lado e não encontrei. Devo ter emprestado para sabe-se-lá-quem, sabe-se-lá-quando. No armário com poeira de uma década estavam minhas notas do curso do Faria, minhas fichas do livro, as leituras...

Fiz uma busca na Estante Virtual e não encontrei um só exemplar na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Será que não leêm Cavell aqui no Rio? Ou quem lê gosta tanto que não se desfaz? Liguei para o sebo Leonardo da Vinci:

Na lista de sebos da Estante achei um único exemplar no estado do Rio, em Niterói. Conversei com um colega que mora lá e ele me trouxe no dia seguinte o livro perdido de dez anos atrás. Vamos ver o que consigo tirar dele agora.

Subject is known by what she sees.
Others can measure their vision by what we see.
Candor ends paranoia.
